National Spring Clean activities are now suspended until after April 19th 2020. This situation will be re-assessed closer to that date.
We are still taking registrations for clean-ups to take place after this date.

Welcome to - the online resource for An Taisce's National Spring Clean, Ireland's nationwide anti-litter campaign which takes place during the whole month of April.

In 2019, 5,448 groups registered to carry out clean-ups throughout the country - Over 500,000 volunteers have participated in the Spring Clean 2019 and collected an estimated 3,000 tonnes of litter.

Here is another activity for the weekend we came up with in conjunction with Clean Coasts and Green Home, which is especially great if you want to keep busy with your kids!

This week we will show you what you need to make natural dyes! 🎨 In the images below you will find all the ingredients you need and some instructions and tips too.

Why should you do this? It's a nice environmental friendly activity, you can give new life to an old piece of clothing, you'll prevent chemical colours going down the sink and you get a chance to use food scraps, which is preventing waste!

Will you try it?
